As Wrestling closes, Softball begins

This past week, I wrote about Hickman and Rock Bridges senior night. As many of these kids begin their college careers, I was able to cover their last event and spotlight some of their big nights. Here’s the article:

As the high school wrestling season closes, the softball season begins. I’m lucky to cover an interesting team that has many interesting aspects to it. My first story and assignment for the team was covering their annual Black & Gold game. Here’s the story:

Playing into the intrasquad matchup, I was able to interview MU softball head coach Larissa Anderson prior to their season opener. I was able to get details on how they’ve been prepping for the season and how they feel about their postseason ban. It was interesting to see how they were approaching the season and their opening few games. Heres the article:

Looking forward to my next blog, I’ll be covering the Mizzou Softball team’s first games and recap how they did.
